Who are we?

Jackson & Seastrand Music was founded by longtime friends Ben Jackson and Matthew Seastrand, who first met through church performances and musical collaborations. What began as a shared love for performing quickly grew into a working partnership built on trust, artistry, and a commitment to excellence. After years of performing together across a range of settings, they recognized a need for live music that was both emotionally compelling and professionally reliable. Today, Jackson & Seastrand Music brings together skilled musicians to provide thoughtful, well-crafted performances for weddings and events, combining artistic intention with a high standard of professionalism.

Meet the Team

Pianist

Benjamin Jackson

Born and raised in Holladay, Utah, Ben started playing piano at age 7 and has been learning from his grandpa ever since. Over the years, he’s had the chance to perform in all kinds of settings — but his favorite part of playing? Expressing emotion and telling a story through music.

When he’s not at the keys, you’ll find him hiking, fishing, camping, or jamming on the accordion or organ (yes, really).

Tenor

Matthew Seastrand

Meet Matthew Seastrand — a Brigham Young University vocal performance student with a deep love for storytelling through music. Beyond the stage, he spends his time painting, writing, and chasing creativity in all its forms. Whether it’s crafting music scores, building characters, or bringing a canvas to life, he’s always searching for beauty and meaning.

He’s excited to be making and sharing music with all of you alongside his brilliant friend Ben!

Sound Engineer

Timothy Jackson

Timothy Jackson is a sound engineer with experience supporting live performances and events. He works closely with musicians and performers to ensure clear, balanced sound and a smooth technical experience for audiences and clients alike.
